I'm a little depressed because I had planned this trip a month ago with my mom and sister and niece Autumn. I was going to be going home today and we were all going up to North Georgia together. Unfortunately I'm spending my vacation with a bad back, My back went out on Tuesday and can't believe it's still hurting this bad. Oh well guess I'm supposed to be thinking. But I sure am missing running around with family this weekend. Especially my niece Autumn.

Little Aaron Michael is such a beautiful baby. This was the first picture I took of him back when his two mommies first brought him out, he was only a few days old. So cute. Added a few others as well.

Super Models, Round Robin Challenge

I've been doing a lot of engagement pictures, and have a few weddings I'm going to be doing in Feb and March. These two reminded me of Super Models, they were both really nice and easy to work with, making them Super Models to me, I'm going to post a Super Model entry over at my Picture of the Day blog as well.

This is probably one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken of Eli, although, I've entered other pictures of him, in pretty baby contests, and he's always won. I never entered this one. He's such a sweet kid. Here he is with his Teddy and tractor, two of his favorite things.

I got a sweet email from my sister today about the wedding scrapbook and pictures I did for her wedding. Just made my day!

Abby is such a sweet girl. She's so ladylike and elegant. She's one of the first things I see when I get up in the morning to let her out, and the last thing before I go to bed besides Mike of course. She's very needy when I'm alone with her, maybe because she knows I'm a sucker and will give her all the attention she needs. But when Mike and I are together she is just fine and just lays there unless we call her to us. I took this of her as the sun was going down on the river.

On thing over Christmas was our thoughts of Mema and Nana. Mama thought about Nana a lot. I can't imagine not having my mom to go to anytime I want. I know she misses Nana a lot. I also thought about Mema and how happy she always was having all of us around her at that time of year. I played with this picture, trying to get creative with the sunset, a picture of my beautiful sisters and of course Mema and Nana!

Today on my lunch break I snapped a few pictures of Denise so she could have some Christmas pictures to give her friends, thought they turned out quite nice. I love the river.

I kind of like this effect, a sepia tone with the coloring of the shirts and jeans left. I wish I could edit pictures all day sometimes.

Watching these two reminded me so much of my sister and me about their age, they don't look like us, but just watching their interaction reminded me of us. The good times. I remember Mama and Daddy taking us to the beach, we sure loved our trips to the beach growing up, it was a happy time, maybe that's why I still love the beach so much to this day.

Isn't Amy beautiful! I really am loving taking pictures. She really liked the ones I showed her today, still have a lot more to get edited. Wish I could do this all day long. I've enjoyed playing with the colors as well.

I went to the beach today and did a photoshoot for two families. I took a lot on this beautiful day. Thought I'd share a few of them. It was really nice at the beach. I hadn't been out there in a long time. I still love it!

Summer has come and gone, and here it is winter now. I've been going through all my pictures I took of my sister at her wedding in May. I think this one is my favorite, her eyes just seem to sparkle.

Man the mountains were beautiful this summer. I sure wish we were up there now, it's going to be a winter wonderland up there soon.

Eli likes bird watching like Nana. He sure loves the outdoors and nature. I bet he loves living out in the country. He's going to have fun growing up out there. I think this is going to be one of my prints for them for Christmas.

Little Big Man is Ethan, he's walking around everywhere now, I think his favorite word was "Hot", I loved when I swoop him up and talk to him in a whisper, he makes little whisper sounds right back to me. This kid loves too eat. He makes this wonderful ahhh sound evertime you show him a piece of food. I see my Papa when I look in his eyes, but I also see myself, from pictures I've seen of myself when I was this age.

Eli is a happy kid, he's really into everything, he loves Autumn more than anything, he's such a polite kid, always saying thank you and please. Just him looking up and telling me when I was bouncing him on my knee playing "Giddup Horse" that makes me happy Uncle Derek makes me smile. I'll hold onto that feeling for a while.
