A boy and his dolphin

I'm really enjoying graphic arts and combining it with my photography. I think of my childhood, my imagination, and my love for water. The artist that molded this could have done it just for me! The piece is called "Sea Express" The bronze statue. I played with the background and really love the way it turned out.

Turn back Time Tuesday

I've decided on Tuesday's I'm going to post a picture I've taken in the past. Thought I'd post one of my favorite's I took of Autumn. It's just pure to me. I look at this picture and realize how much she has grown, it just blows my mind.

More of Aaron

Well after work today, Mike and I went over to Val and Rochelle's to give them the video tape Mike worked on of Aaron's baptism, and some pictures he put with music. Of course we took some pictures, I even got one with him, he was getting a bit fussy at the time.

Little Aaron Michael

We went to church today, after church we had lunch with Valerie, Rochelle, and Val's brother Jim. The best thing was little Aaron being in the middle of all of us. He was the little boy blue today.

Another Wedding

Boy am I pooped, I mean really pooped, Mike and I went out with Becky last night and stayed out way to late. Today I had a wedding to photograph at 12:00 noon. Seems I been working on it all day. I think they turned out pretty good.

Photo Friday: Baby

Photo Friday : Baby
These are the three first pictures I took of my niece and nephews
I just noticed they all three had the exact same kind of baby blanket, o.k. Laura is this most hospital's main baby blanket? You can really see how much they've grown in the entry below.

Round Robin Challenge: Let the Good Times Roll

Challenge: Round Robin
Tess, author of the journal, "
First Digital Photos," has chosen as our next Round Robin subject, Laisser le Bon Temps Rouler or Let The Good Times Roll. One of my favorite ways to let the good times roll is taking the kids on a jog, my sister has this wonderful stroller for runners. This thing goes pretty fast and the kids love it. Actually doing just about anything with them is a good time. But they love to go fast all of them.

I guess you can probably tell by the last two postings, that I'm missing Autumn, Eli, and Ethan. It's time for Uncle Derek to get home to Georgia.

Last year at the Gater River Run my sister and her husband, fiance at the time brought my niece Autumn to see me run the 15K race. I took this picture of her after the race playing in the fountain down by the river. Sherry told her not to get wet, as you can see she didn't look too worried about what she said.

Mike was watching television when I took this, I played with it some on photoshop and gave it a watery feel or metallic. Thought it turned out kind of interesting. He looks kind of sad to me.

Round Robin Challenge: Silly Animals

I'm not sure why but maybe it was a story from childhoot about a silly old goat that lived on a high mountain top. I really don't remember how the story went. But goats have always been silly too me. They make me smile that's for sure.
